Symptoms of spine problems may either be attributed to inherent primary spine disease or secondary damage to other related tissues. The problem may be easily identifiable, but often it is not because symptoms may surface either locally or far away depending on the problem. No patient should give up until they have had a comprehensive evaluation. A problem that may appear mild in one patient can be a severe problem in another. For these reasons, one patient may not need treatment and another may require intense evaluation and treatment.
